The 27th. Annual Larry Christensen Memorial Fun Fly will be held at the Vernon R/C Aeromodellers Society field just north of Swan Lake in Vernon, BC. Commencing at 9am Friday September 2nd., 2022 until Labour Day Monday afternoon. COVID-19 safe practices still in effect. No landing fee, free parking/dry camping available for RVs beginning Tuesday afternoon, August 30th. (first come, first serve). This is a non-smoking site. | Directions: | Traveling NORTH on HWY 97A from Vernon Our flying field is located on the north side of Swan Lake in Vernon BC . Traveling north on Hwy 97A follow the Kamloops signs. You can turn onto L&A Cross Road right after you have gone under the underpass and cross the train tracks or you can continue west on the highway.
