Come out to our annual Fun Fly during Gander's Festival of Flight. The event brings together RC modelers from across Newfoundland to have 2 days of RC flying of models of all sorts on a paved 850m taxiway. Proof of MAAC membership is a requirement to actively fly at this event. There will be a Flight Simulator setup, First Person Viewing of flights using goggles, a candy drop throughout the afternoon, and buddy box flying with a MAAC member for those interested in trying the hobby. Pilot registration at the site will be $5. This is a no-charge event for the public, but a donation box will be at the gate.
