I started in Modeling ( control line) in 1959, and was active in the hobby till I was married in 1970....took a sabbatical till the kids grew up, and then started RC, flying electric powered models in 1992, and have used electric power exclusively since then. I fly gliders, sport models, 3D models, control line, and scale types...my favourite is the WW1 type models with electric power..usually 1/4 scale and larger. I have been involved in MAAC firstly as an assistant zone director and then as a deputy zone director, zone director for B.C and Yukon zone C and currently as ZD for B.C. Coastal zone H. Home field is the Fraser Valley R.C. flyers field in Chilliwack, but I have flown at pretty much every field in the zone, as I love to visit events that are put on during the season. If you attend a few events during the season, you can bet we either have already met, or we will meet, as I love to talk to people about their models. See you at the field....
