R/C Pylon

Purpose of the Committee

The purpose of the MAAC RC Pylon committee is to promote competitive radio-controlled pylon racing within the scope of the event rules set out by the committee while abiding by the MAAC Safety Code.

The committee will define and update rules for RC Pylon racing with the goal of staying current and compatible with RC Pylon activity in the United States flown under the sanction of the AMA and the NMPRA.

The committee will review and approve applications for national fast time records in RC Pylon racing.

The committee will keep the MAAC membership aware of committee business and general activity in RC Pylon racing throughout the country by way of information submissions to Model Aviation Canada.
