Hello to All Zone G Members !!!
I am pleased to announce that the Annual Zone G Fun Fly will be held, at it's usual date over the August long weekend again this summer. This event will be the most inclusive to date, including fixed wing, rotary wing and multi-rotor flying. See the attached posted for date and location details.
The event will also include fun competitive events as well as the opportunity to watch and/or participate in drone racing events.
This year's event will be hosted by the Arnprior Radio Control Club (see poster for facility coordinates) but will, in fact, be the result of the combined efforts of the following Zone G clubs whose Leadership and members have committed to collaborate in putting on this event which we all hope to be the highlight of the flying season:

a. Field and facilities - Arnprior Radio Control Club, (ARCC);
b. Food - Ottawa Remote Control Club (ORCC);
c. Registration - Rideau Valley Modelers (RVM);
d. Flight Line Operations - Cornwall Aero Modellers;
e. Multi-rotor Operations and Related Events - Ottawa FPV Riders,
f. Advertising and Prizes- Stetson Flyers.
The event will offer lots of fun, prizes and a chance to experience much of what our hobby has to offer. I encourage you to come out for one or both days and to pass the word around to neighbouring Clubs from other Zones as well as among your friends and neighbours in the non-flying public. Anyhthing we can do to entice non-flyers to join the hobby will be good for us all.
You'll see a number of advertizements and reminders as the summer progresses and the big day draws near. Feel free to reach out with any questions as they arise.
