Zone C - Fall Classic Float Fly

Due to the situation currently affecting many of our Club members and the problems of transportation in the area we have decided to hold our event as a Fun Fly. Meaning, No landing fee or maybe by donation. All we need to do is set up, supply the boat and a desk for flyers to self register with name and MAAC number, and take it down on Sunday. We should have one person at least on the beach during our normal hours. We have no idea how many may come given our situation, but at least you will be able to fly if the conditions allow. If conditions improve and volunteers are available we could still provide our pilot prizes as we have received lots of good stuff from members and Hobby Wholesale.
The focus will be on a Fun Fly with fellow Flyers.

Fun Fly 6 days SLAM FALL CLASSIC FLOAT FLY SHUSWAP LAKE AERO MODELERS Sandy Point Resort & Campground. Come share this beautiful flying site and comradery with other Pacific Northwest modelers at the largest float event in the region. Registration begins Tuesday September 5th and continues through Sunday September 10th when Raffle Prizes will be drawn for and some short remarks will be made. A retrieval boat will be available all during the event . Your $15 'splashdown fee' includes unlimited flying at this beautiful site, pilot's prizes. We also plan a raffle with super prizes, 50/50s & more. Sandy Point Resort is located 7 km West of Salmon Arm and accepts reservations
