JACQUES HEYRMAN MEMORIAL FUN-FLY 2026
(This event is closed to the public-only MAAC members and crew may attend. Invited guest(s) of a MAAC member are permitted provided they are supervised at all times). This MEMORIAL FUN-FLY will be held on Saturday
August 22, 2026. Field times will be from 1:00PM-9:00PM. Set-up will start at 1:00PM, registration will open at 1:30PM and pilots briefing at 2:00PM. This event is open to all currently registered MAAC pilots of all electric aircraft, NO DRONES! All pilots MUST be registered with Transport Canada and have their RPAS certificates with them, also all planes MUST be registered with Transport Canada and have their registration numbers clearly visible on the aircraft. Th minimun age to fly on your own is 14 yrs. old and you MUST have a valid RPAS certificate with you as well. The entry fee for this event is $5.00 and will include a raffle ticket for our prize draws. Additional tickets for the raffle can be purchased throughout the event prior to the draw. We will have burgers, hotdogs, chips and pop to purchase or feel free to bring your own lunch and snacks if you wish. Again we will be having a 50/50 draw for everyones enjoyment. This will be a day of open flying to all with no events scheduled. A day to come out relax, fly and talk to old and new friends about all your RC experiences. So come out and show off your skills and entertain all the pilots and spectators alike. Remember, there will be NO MAIDEN FLIGHTS AT ALL, NONE!! at today's event!
